Science Teacher – Dorset
Full-Time – Maternity Cover – Starting Jan 2026

A thriving and innovative secondary school in Dorset is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover contract starting January 2026. This school is offering high-quality academic and land-based learning experiences.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4, supporting students as they prepare for double or triple science qualifications. You will play a key role in helping learners build confidence, develop a strong scientific understanding, and apply their knowledge to real-world contexts.

The ideal candidate will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
• Be able to inspire students and make Science meaningful and exciting
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management
• Be committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality learning experiences
• Bring energy, creativity, and a willingness to embrace innovation
