Science Teacher

Are you a passionate Science Teacher ready to inspire and motivate young minds?

We are looking for a dedicated educator to join a forward-thinking and supportive school community in Poole, teaching students aged 11 to 16. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Your Role

• Deliver creative and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Foster curiosity and critical thinking through practical, hands-on learning.

• Support students in developing confidence and enthusiasm for scientific discovery.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning outcomes and wellbeing.

• Adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

• A minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs.

• Experience teaching Science to pupils aged 11–16.

• A nurturing, patient, and positive approach to education.

• A passion for inspiring young learners and helping them thrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
