Full-Time Science Teacher – Bournemouth – January 2026 Start
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join the department on a full-time basis from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about inspiring young people and delivering high-quality Science teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to a supportive team environment. Strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience are essential.
The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified Science Teacher with QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4

Demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities

Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
-
Play an active role in curriculum development and wider school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
