Full-Time Science Teacher – Bournemouth – January 2026 Start

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join the department on a full-time basis from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about inspiring young people and delivering high-quality Science teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to a supportive team environment. Strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience are essential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Science Teacher with QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4

  • Demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities

  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour

  • Play an active role in curriculum development and wider school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
