Are you a Teacher of Science seeking your next job role and have an appetite for making a significant influence on students’ lives?

Teaching Personnel are seeking an extraordinary Science Teacher to join our client’s school to the help further a love for learning in the field of Science within the students. The role is at a mainstream secondary school in the Braintree area, and it will be starting on a Temp to Perm basis from September 2024. 

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching all Science specialisms, with an ability to explain tricky concepts clearly, and with ease, ensuring students remain inquisitive about the world around them and motivated to study further.

Job Description:

We are looking for highly motivated and experienced individual, who may be looking for a teacher role. This is a great opportunity for FQT or ECT wanting to grow their career.

  • Delivering outstanding lessons to groups of young people in various educational settings
  •  Commitment to excellent behaviour management and high standards in teaching and learning.
  •  Emphasis on creating a fun and safe learning environment.
  • To participate in the development of appropriate syllabuses, materials and schemes of work.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Specialism or Qualifications in the core Science subjects.
  • Outstanding knowledge of the UK Secondary Science curriculum.
  • A Child Enhanced DBS (we are able to help provide this)
  • Overseas Police clearance (if applicable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
