Job Title: Science Teacher

Job Location: Bristol

Job Salary: £30,863 - £47,182 per annum

Job Contract: Full time, permanent

 

Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce are currently working alongside an Academy who are seeking a Science Teacher to join a Secondary School located in Weston-Super-Mare, to start in September 2024 or sooner. 

 

Job Role: 

  • You will be required to teach GCSE Science to students aged 11 - 16
  • Provide 1:1 support to students as and where needed
  • Liaise with the Head of Department regarding creative ways to develop the curriculum
  • Provide constructive feedback to students following exams/tests

 

Job Requirements:

  • UK recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) with QTS
  • Prior experience teaching Science at GCSE level
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree within the subject
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or no prior cautions or convictions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
