Job description

This popular, oversubscribed secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a Science Teacher with a passion for inspiring the next generation of scientists. The role is open to Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialists and will involve teaching a varied timetable across KS3 and KS4.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across a range of year groups

  • Plan practical and theoretical lessons that foster curiosity and enquiry

  • Prepare students for GCSEs through clear structure and targeted support

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on schemes of work and assessment

Essential Criteria:

  • Science degree and QTS
