Join Teaching Personnel as a Secondary School Art Teacher – Richmond and Surrounding Areas
Location: Richmond and surrounding boroughs (Twickenham, Hounslow, Kingston, etc.)
Job Type: Flexible Supply – Full-time, Part-time, and Ad Hoc roles available
Salary: £150 – £240 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Ongoing – Immediate starts available
Are you a creative and passionate Art teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in secondary schools? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Secondary School Art Teachers to support our partner schools in Richmond and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Art teachers or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to bring their artistic passion and expertise into the classroom, inspiring students to explore and develop their creativity.
The Role:

Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4

Manage classroom behaviour to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Adapt quickly to new school settings and effectively engage with pupils
-
Provide continuity of learning and support during the absence of the regular teacher

Opportunities for regular work including block bookings and short/long-term placements
✅ About You:
-
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK teaching qualification in Art
-
Confident teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4
-
Creative, flexible, and reliable with the ability to adapt to different school environments

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A genuine passion for inspiring young people through Art

A child workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
