Teacher roles in Daventry

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Daventry who are seeking a passionate teacher of Science to join them in September. The school is part of a large, collaborate multi academy trust that encourages students to recognise their aspirations and believe that anything is possible. Both schools believe that pupils should leave as educated and empowered young people, due to an excellent standard of teaching, a broad yet balanced curriculum and a supportive pastoral system. The role will involve teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students on a full time basis.

It is not essential that all applicants hold QTS; however experience teaching to key stage 3 and 4 pupils is a requirement. The ideal candidates will be passionate about education with a desire to drive pupil progress. They will also be able to manage behaviour effectively and ensure that pupils feel supported and confident in their learning. NQT's are encouraged to apply.

The school are also looking for reliable day to day supply staff that can cover lessons across the curriculum. This will be a great experience for anyone looking to begin a career in teaching as well as those who are unable to teach full time and are looking for a more flexible working schedule. Experienced and unexperienced teachers are welcome to apply, however must:

  • Have experience working with young people
  • Be confident in managing behaviour
  • Be enthusiastic about education
