Contract Type: Full-Time/Permanent (Part-Time & Supply also Considered)

Salary: (MPS/UPS, Dependent on Experience)
The Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the DA7 (Bexleyheath) area. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 & KS4, with potential for KS5 for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcome).

Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student progress.

Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.

Collaborate with the Science department to enhance curriculum delivery.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Ideal Candidate:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
-
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Experience teaching GCSE Science (A-Level desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
