Science Teacher, Chorley

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Chorley based School who are hoping to appoint a hard working, qualified and experienced Teacher to deliver KS3/4 Science to pupils with additional learning needs. The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ADHD, Autism, Challenging Behaviours and ODD. The School is based on the outskirts of Chorley and has ample on site parking, there is also access via public transport but ideally the candidate will drive as the role may require you to transport pupils.

The candidate ideal for this role will have experience working with children who have additional learning needs and/or challenging behaviours. The candidate suited to this role will hold a teaching qualification, have some experience delivering Science or a Science specialism.

The role will be full time, starting in September, for the full academic year with permanent opportunities available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £95 - 139 per day

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
