School Sports Coach

Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Sports Coach to work within one of our Alternative Provisions based in Burgess Hill.

The School

A Pupil Referral Unit based in Brighton that caters for Primary and Secondary students with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, offering off site sports and outdoor education opportunities to help students’ engagement.

The Role

A full-time opportunity with the potential for a permanent position, dependant on performance, you will be to help plan and deliver Sports sessions for students of all abilities and manage difficult and challenging situations of confrontational behaviour. You will also be required to help support in class on a one to one basis as well.

The Candidate

You must have experience of delivering a variety of sports sessions to a variety of ages and learning abilities. we are also looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a passion for sports as well as pupil’s individual progression.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
