• Full & part time Cover Supervisor positions available
• Supervising work that has been set by the class teacher.
• Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking their work.
• Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures.
• Particularly suitable for graduates who wish to gain more experience within a Secondary school in preparation for completing a PGCE in the future.
• Also ideal for Sports Coaches who are free during the day and want to gain more flexible work or people with experience of working with 11-16 year olds and want to progress into a school environment.

The cover manager of the school is looking to add to their support team as soon as possible to increase the consistency for the pupils when class teachers are absent. This includes using the subject you graduated in or your previous experience to add specialised support in lessons e.g. using your knowledge of your English, Maths, Science degree in to enhance learning those particular lessons etc.

In it's most recent 'Ofsted' report, the school were commended for maintaining the high quality of education for the pupils. It also highlighted the positive relationships pupils have with staff which makes it an ideal environment to gain more experience in.

The school is located close to the town centre which offers excellent accessibility to the surrounding areas of Standish, Shevington & Orrell.
