School Administration Assistants
Manchester
Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint two school administration assistants for a small successful school in South Manchester. This role is ideal for candidates who are organised, sociable and thrive on a busy schedule!
The available roles are full time with the first commencing immediately and the other commencing in January. The working hours for both roles are 8am – 4pm with a competitive salary based between GBP1300 - GBP1400 per month based on experience.
The role will involve working within the schools administration team dealing with enquiries from staff, parents and pupils. The successful candidates will handle phone calls, emails and data entry as well as photocopying, filing and keeping final records up to date.
We are looking for candidates who are proficient in the school of the school’s management information system (SIMS) as well as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. The ability to deal professionally with staff, parents and students is essential for this role as is the ability to prioritise tasks and deal with tasks in a proficient manner.
Successful applicants must:
- Have a Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service or will be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel
- Have experience working within a similar role – ideally within a school or educational setting
- Be available on a full time basis immediately or from January 2020
- Be proactive, organised and sociable
Successful applicants will join a successful small secondary school located in South Manchester which is situated just a short drive from the city centre.
