 School Admin Assistant – Immediate Start – Bracknell/Wokingham Area ️

Location: Bracknell or Wokingham, Berkshire
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full-time (term-time only or all year round, depending on school)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

A welcoming and supportive school in the Bracknell/Wokingham area is looking to appoint a School Admin Assistant to join their busy office team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual with strong administrative skills and experience in HR, payroll, and SIMS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing administrative support to the school office, senior leadership team, and teaching staff

• Managing daily operations including reception duties, correspondence, and filing

• Supporting HR functions such as recruitment admin, absence tracking, and personnel records

• Assisting with payroll processing and liaising with external payroll providers

• Maintaining accurate data and pupil records using SIMS (School Information Management System)

• Supporting safeguarding procedures by maintaining confidential records

✅ Requirements:

• Proven administrative experience (within a school is preferred but not essential)

• Experience in HR and payroll processes is essential

• Experience using SIMS is required

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Friendly, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
