A Children's residential home situated in Rochdale are currently looking to appoint multiple Residential Workers on a casual basis. Experience working in a children's residential setting, care home or specialist PRU is desirable but not essential as long as you can display high levels of emotional and physical resilience. Due to the nature of the needs of the young people the home have requested that Residential Workers hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care or are willing to work towards that qualification.
Due to the nature of the needs of the children the Residential Support Workers will have:
- Team Teach training (Teaching Personnel can provide)
- Experience working with vulnerable pupils IE personal experience, experience in residential/ PRU's or SEMH Settings
- A can do attitude and strong physical presence
- A willingness to get stuck in and build positive relationships with service users
- A level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- High levels of emotional and physical resilience
