A Specialist Setting situated in Oldham are currently looking to recruit Residential Workers who are looking for a career change. If you are currently a Residential Worker who is looking for a role with more social able hours this could be the perfect role for you. These positions are commencing in September 2019 and there are a variety of temporary and permanent positions available entirely dependent on your circumstances.
The setting is an outstanding Multi Academy trust which operates across 4 sites in Oldham. Sites cater for pupils between 4 - 19 with a Statement of SEN or an EHCP, on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
The ideal Residential Workers will have:
- Behavioural and restraint training (desirable)
- A passion for supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH
- The ability to form positive working relationships
- Experience working with pupils with SEN in some capacity
