Residential Care Worker

Our residential School is open as usual and we are seeking staff to start as soon as possible. 

We are recruiting for full time Support workers to work with children, we can offer you either night shifts or day shifts (you will never need to work a mix of both). The young people we care for have Autism or a similar disabitily. This is a permanent opportunity. 

We have a great benefits package for staff including the chance to train in a Level 3 qualification. 

No experience is necessary, full training is provided, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in a childcare setting and progress your career. 

Choice between having a 2 week rolling rota that gives you 5 days off on one of the weeks, so in a 14 day period you will only work 7 days or working a 40 hour week with shifts between 7am and 10.30pm.

Hours are 8-8 on nights. (Nights are 4 on 4 off)

You will never need to work a mix of days and nights.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing support within the residential home as well as classroom support
  • Personal Care Support
  • Supporting evening and weekend trips out
  • Working alongside other staff to provide the best possible care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
