The head teacher of the school has asked us to appoint a part time Religious Studies teacher to work in their school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the potential for 4 days a week. The school offers cohesive working with other Religious Studies specialists in the department to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition into the school. A strict behaviour policy is enforced throughout the school so that a positive learning and teaching environment is kept within the school. The school is located in Newport close to the M4 for easy access from surrounding areas and good public transport links.

The Successful Candidate

An excellent teacher of Religious Studies able to teach KS3 and KS4

Good behaviour management

Newly Qualified teachers and Fully Qualified teachers encouraged to apply

Paid to teacher pay scale

Full teacher role with planning and marking responsibilities

Requirements

PGCE / Degree with QTS

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on update service (we can assist)

Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
