Opportunity to join school held in high regard and teach enthusiastic secondary aged students
Due to a planned leave of maternity, our client are looking for a practitioner with experience delivering Religious Education or Religious Studies through KS3 and KS4.
The position is set to commence after Easter, just prior to the May half-term break, but could potentially start in April for the most suitable applicant.
Our client school is a large 11-18 selective secondary and sixth form in the centre of Oldham. Ofsted graded the school as “Outstanding” across all areas with key features including the collaborative department leads and the inspirational Head teacher continuously striving for excellence. The school has excellent provisions for learning in place and students strive to achieve. The input in hard work by staff and students alike is reflected in the results, in most recent published GCSE results the school was amongst the highest in the region, showing a further improvement and a continuation to over-achieve the national expectancy of pass grades.

- Secondary PGCE in Religious Studies ideally
- Degree in Religious Education or Religious Studies or other Humanities based subject
