Religious Education Teacher

Religious Education Teacher required for Secondary School 20 minutes from central Cambridge

• Part time role, 1 day a week for the academic year
• Ofsted graded ‘Good’ School

Teaching Personnel are seeking a specialist Religious Studies Teacher to work in a Secondary School north of Cambridge.

The school is comprised of 800 students from 11 to 18 years old. They are a fully comprehensive school whose ethos and values are at the core of everything they do. They really aim to challenge the learning and development of their students to help them achieve their full potential and raise pupil attainment.

They have a very friendly and supportive network and anyone joining the team can expect to be welcomed into the department and supported through their time at the School. One example can be seen with a member of staff who left, then returned to the school at the earliest opportunity of a position.

The ideal Teacher will

?Specialise in Religious Education

?Be able to deliver to Key Stage 3 and 4, up to GCSE

?Have a strong belief in pushing students to realise their full potential

?Be able to build a strong rapport with students and colleagues.

?Be able to plan and prepare in line with the Religious Studies curriculum
