A Catholic High School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and fully qualified Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join its committed team from September 2025, on a temporary to permanent basis.

This mixed 05–11 primary school is a welcoming and inclusive community, rooted in Gospel values and principles. The successful candidate will:

• Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 1 and 2
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, compassion, and moral reflection
• Uphold and promote the Catholic ethos and values of the school in both curriculum and pastoral roles
• Contribute to the spiritual life of the school, including participation in liturgies, assemblies, and other faith-based activities
• Support pupils’ academic and personal development, encouraging them to reflect on ethical, spiritual, and social issues.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
• Have experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people through faith and philosophy
• Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school (practising Catholic preferred, but not essential
• Exhibit excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
• Be a reflective practitioner with a strong commitment to professional growth
• Be a team player who is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school
