Primary School Admin Assistant
Location: Bootle
Start Date: ASAP or End of February 2025
Hours: Full-time. 8:15am - 3:35pm
Are you an organised, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful difference every day? We are looking for a Primary School Admin Assistant to join our friendly team at friendly Primary School in Bootle!
About the Role:
As a Primary School Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff.
- Managing phone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
- Assisting with student admissions, attendance records, and data entry.
- Supporting the leadership team with administrative tasks and correspondence.
- Ensuring the office runs efficiently and effectively to support our school community.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and SIMS (or similar school programmes)
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
- Experience in a school or similar environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
