Reception Teacher (maternity cover)

Required from September 2020

My Client School based in Sheffield (S11) is a vibrant place where children feel safe, happy and valued to achieve their absolute potential. Learning is engaging and inspiring and they have high expectations for all children in terms of their academic achievements as well as personal, social and emotional development.

Due to the schools continued growth and a staff maternity cover, they are recruiting two class teachers. One for a Maternitiy post and the other for Year 2. These are both full-time teaching posts which offer an exciting opportunity for suitably skilled and passionate teachers to become part of the friendly, aspirational and expanding school. Both posts offer a one-year fixed term contract initially with the view to stay on a permanent basis.

The School are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Passionate about children’s learning and well-being
  • Ambitious to maximise progress in learning through motivating activities in a positive learning environment
  • Enjoys their work, a positive outlook and good interpersonal skills
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Committed to the wider school community
  • At least 1 academic year UK experience as a qualified teacher
