Day to day supply teacher roles in September

  • Work as a day to day supply teacher across all year groups (EYFS-KS2)
  • Flexible and full time day to day and pre-booked teaching work
  • Extend your experiences across a variety of schools working with a range of children’s needs

Are you currently seeking work in the Autumn months? Do you hold Qualified Teacher Status and prefer to work on a flexible short term basis?

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of schools in the Blackburn with Darwen area to provide them with supply and short term cover teachers on a flexible and full time basis. Autumn is an excellent time to gain valuable experiences across a number of schools with the view to being asked back to continue as ‘dedicated supply’. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience or for a new challenge in the next academic year.

Benefits to working on supply through Teaching Personnel:

• Both flexible and full time General Cover positions available

• Gain experience working in a range of different schools

• Develop an in depth understanding of different teaching strategies and behaviour management strategies

• Attractive pay rates starting from £90 per day

This position as a cover teacher will involve planning and the delivery of class content to the whole class, however on occasion, the class teacher may leave work to be covered. It is essential that the work covered is of a high standard and the children are focused on learning and their behaviour is in line with the standards set in school. Suitable candidates will have previous experience as a teacher and be confident in delivering the Curriculum and differentiating where possible. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with the children at Primary level and effectively manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies. It is also important to be able to build a strong rapport with staff and senior leaders in school as you may be expected to partake in other events across the school working day.

To be taken into consideration for the above post email an updated CV to steven.lamb@teachingpersonnel.com or for further information contact the Preston Primary Branch on 01772 842155.
