RE Teacher - Sunderland

Are you an experienced RE specialist with a track record for producing creative and engaging lessons? Are you seeking to take on new challenges? If so, this role may be perfect for you!

One of our client schools in Sunderland wish to find a great RE teacher for a year-long contract within their department. They have indicated that they would like a specialist who is able to deliver curriculum to A-Level, with a great track record for producing consistently high results.

As this role will continue across the entirety of the next academic year, it is crucial that applicants work well within a team, as the school prides itself for its supportive network of staff, which they believe contributes towards students making consistent progression.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a highly experienced teacher of RE, able to deliver curriculum to KS5
  • Be responsible for the planning and preparation of classwork
  • Be committed to taking on regular CPD courses to maintain a current knowledge of areas such as safeguarding
  • Regularly meet with the department to report on class progress
