Job description

Job Title: Qualified Tutor

Location:

Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop personalised learning plans
  • Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their academic performance
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to support student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching in a relevant subject area
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the UK education system
  • Proficiency in the subject area being taught
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
