Job Title: Maths and English Tutor - Qualified

Location:

Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

1. Provide high-quality tutoring in Maths and English subjects to students.

2. Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' individual needs and learning styles.

3. Monitor and assess students' progress to ensure academic growth.

4. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student performance.

5. Keep accurate records of student attendance, progress, and feedback.

6. Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practises.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in Maths and English.

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English subjects.

- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths and English.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Maths, English, or related field.

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Ability to engage and motivate students of all levels.

- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
