Job description

Job Title: Qualified Tutor- English and Maths

Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in English and Maths to students
  • Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve
  • Monitor and track student performance to identify areas for development
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Stay updated on curriculum changes and teaching methodologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education, English, Maths or related field
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the English and Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage students and create an interactive learning environment
  • Effective time management and organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
