Job description

Job Title: SEN Tutor

Location:

South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • - Provide specialised educational support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • - Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • - Deliver engaging lessons and activities tailored to support SEN students in achieving academic goals
  • - Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
  • - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for SEN students

Required Qualifications:

  • - A relevant teaching qualification
  • - Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • - Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
  • - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • - Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • - Understanding of SEN legislation and policies
  • - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • - Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • - Patience and empathy in working with SEN students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • - Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • - Experience in using assistive technology to support SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
