Job description

Job Title: Qualified Tutor

Location:

South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in line with the curriculum
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop individualised learning plans
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement
  • Support students in developing study skills and exam preparation techniques
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to support student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience as a tutor or teacher
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong subject knowledge in the relevant area

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning styles and teaching methods
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
