Qualified Teachers needed in Guildford, Godalming and Cranleigh
Are you looking for a new direction in your Teaching career?
Do you thrive of spending more time working with children who need it most?
Do you enjoy making a real difference to children who struggle with their learning?
Are you interested in exploring a new, exciting way of Teaching?
If you just answered yes to the above questions then look no further!
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for mainstream teachers who may be interested in trying teaching within a special needs setting.
The strong relationship we have with our SEN schools means we can give the opportunity for mainstream Teachers to experience an SEN setting, offering support and training through the transition.
In a specialist setting you will have small class sizes allowing you to focus your attention on each individual student and support from LSA's who tend to work 1:1 with each student in the class allowing you to make a real difference. As an SEN teacher you will still teach national curriculum subjects, mark and discuss work, prepare lessons and teaching materials, liaise with other professionals such as other teachers and medical staff, and work alongside the parents to help develop student's confidence and abilities.
Candidate requirements:
- Hold UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working in a classroom setting.
- To be confident, determined, approachable and positive.
- Have patience and understanding
If you are excited about the prospect of using your skills to make a real difference to the children who need it most but are unsure of how to take the next step, we are here to help. If you have any questions or would like any information on Teaching in an SEN setting please feel free to call Holly for a confidential chat on 0118 3271606
If you do not have the qualifications above but have experience working with children in another capacity for example: Youth work, mentoring and support work, and also wish to experience a new career direction, then please do apply as we have a number of other positions as a Teaching Assistant.
