About the Role

Supply Bank is currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Primary School Teachers to take on flexible teaching roles in Macclesfield and surrounding areas. These short-term placements are ideal for teachers looking for variety, a better work-life balance, or the opportunity to gain experience across different school environments — all while being paid in line with your teacher pay scale.
As a supply teacher, you’ll step into classrooms to provide essential cover, deliver high-quality lessons, and maintain a positive learning environment during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 — tailored to your experience and interests

• Deliver engaging lessons that follow school curriculum and planning

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and well-structured classroom setting

• Work effectively with support staff to meet pupil needs

• Adapt quickly to new school environments and policies

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Recent classroom experience in UK primary settings

• Strong classroom management and adaptability

• A professional, enthusiastic, and proactive approach

• Confident communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
