Pupil Referral Unit - Support

Job description

Do you live in the Bolton area, and have experience working in an educational environment with students with specific educational needs?

We have a number of schools within this area who are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support students in the classroom. Educational units may require candidates to deal with students who have profound mental health or emotional issues.
Due to the wide range of needs, ideally candidates will have any of the following skills:

Team-teach training

Experience with mentoring/ Intervention

Experience dealing with behavioural/ emotional needs (ADHD/ Depression/ Anxiety/ Self-Harm)

Have Autism Awareness training or experience

Experience supporting or caring for someone with Special educational needs or learning difficulty

Candidates should be patient and caring but also enthusiastic and inspiring.

These roles will be very rewarding and can make a huge difference to the learning experience of the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
