Are you seeking an exciting career in education?
Our wonderful SEN School based in Crawley caters for Primary aged pupils who have Autism, severe learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, mobility needs and ADHD. We are currently seeking full time pupil mentors to join us as soon as possible!
As a pupils mentor, you will be playing a huge role in providing students with ongoing academic, social, emotional and behaviour support. Special needs can be challenging for young people to navigate and pupils may struggle with sensory needs, focus, behaviour and social interaction; your role will involve boosting pupils confidence, self-esteem and passion for learning!
Day to day, you will be working either 1:1 or with small classes of pupils, working alongside a friendly class teacher and fellow support staff; delivering lessons and activities which are tailored to maximise pupil engagement and best support their needs.
Lessons are specifically tailored to the pupil’s interests and abilities; meaning there will be plenty of arts and crafts, messy play with Play-Doh and paints, outside activities etc!
Due to this, staff are required to be energetic and physically fit, bubbly and charismatic, as well as resilient and reliable.

All you’ll need is;
• To be energetic, enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Relevant experience or a strong interest in the education sector
• A child only DBS registered to the update service (or willing to apply)
• Full-time Availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
