Are you a Psychology Graduate who is keen to secure a Learning Support Assistant position and build the experience needed for further study?

A rare opportunity to get vital experience as a Primary Learning Support Assistant at a sociable Primary School in Oldham has become available for a motivated Psychology Graduate looking to forge a future career in Educational/Clinical Psychology.

- Primary Learning Support Assistant post available ASAP

- Long Term/Interim, Full-Time role

To be successful, you will be a bright and caring Psychology Graduate who has received at least a 2:1 in your degree and has the drive to positively impact the pupils in your care. The school want to see Graduates with the drive to overcome challenges and obstacles for children so that they may learn through clear thinking and positivity. The school want to recruit a Graduate who has the skills to give clear and concise instruction to pupils that leads to a greater understanding of the subject.

In this Primary Learning Support Assistant post you will be supporting teaching and learning across the school as and when needed, throughout the Key-Stages. Your Learning Support Assistant role at the school will be varied but a constant focus will be supporting the schools SEN provision, you will do this by taking children out of class in 1-1 sessions of targeted support classes, this will allow you to build experience working with a range of learning difficulties. Throughout your Learning Assistant role you will be working alongside an experienced SENCO who will work closely with you to build a plethora of skills that will aid your future development and your future career in Psychology.
