Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large Secondary school in Salford. The school are currently looking to obtain several Psychology Graduates to join their team after the October half term break.

This position is perfect for a recent Psychology Graduate who is hoping for a future career in Secondary teaching, as it will provide experience before entering into a teacher training programme.

-          Psychology graduates are welcome to apply for this position.

-          Full-time Teaching Assistant positions available.

-          Working alongside the class teacher, and supporting students in classes aged 11-16

-          Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

-          Any experience with SEN pupils is highly valued.

-          Gain some experience prior to beginning teacher training.

-          Dependent on previous experience, earn up to GBP300 per week .

Our client school is in need of extra staff to guarantee students are supported and that teachers also have the help they require in the classroom. As a Psychology Graduate within our client school, responsibilities will include working 1:1 with identified pupils that require additional support within the subject specialism. Further responsibilities incorporate supporting the class teacher, covering lessons in the absence of the teacher and delivering intervention sessions to raise overall pupil attainment.

Our client school has a number of pupils with SEN and applicants should be prepared of the possibility of working with these pupils. This experience will enhance future teacher training applications, and could result in a direct placement with the client school.

Located in the Salford area, our client Secondary school can be accessed via the M60 and A580 from surrounding areas such as central Manchester and Bolton. For non-drivers, the school is easily accessible via several forms of public transportation from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
