Teaching Personnel are looking for psychology graduate Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic team within Teaching Personnel! As someone who has developed psychological knowledge, education is a perfect place to put this into practise. Developing those core relationships with both staff and students, initiating plans and working as a team to help develop the mind’s of the students at hand.

We are looking for a handful of graduates for an immediate start to fill both part time and full time positions as well as recruting a whole lot more for the next academic year!!

The roles and responsibilities:

  • Helping students with their learning, focusing on their engagement to the learning objectives
  • Supervising groups of students, making sure they’re maintaining school values.
  • Creating a welcoming and safe environment for the students to work in.
  • Developing programmes of social activities to aid behavioural activity.
  • Monitoring and recording behaviour and progress
  • Working 1:1 and / or groups of students, captivating them with school activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for education.
  • Be a positive and enthusiastic role model.
  • Have drive to progress, constantly improving their practise.
  • Be able to build trusting relationships with students and staff
  • Have knowledge on the ability of behaviour and how to deal with various social situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
