PRU Teacher, Preston

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based Behavioural Unit who are seeking a Teacher to deliver a range of subjects KS3/4. The School is based centrally in Preston and is easily accessible via public transport and has ample on site parking, the School are hoping to find a hard working, qualified and enthusiastic Teacher to work in their forward thinking School.

The School are looking for a Teacher who has experience working with pupils with SEN and/or challenging behaviours and candidates who have their Team Teach qualification will be favoured, but this is not essential. The role will be to cover a range of subjects and therefore, it doesn't matter which subject you specialise in - help with planning will be provided when required.

The role will be; full time, long term and you must attend parents evenings and open days in School. The School want a candidate who is happy to be fully immersed in School life and have a passion for enriching the lives of pupils who have additional needs and/or are harder to reach.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £95 - 135 per day

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with additional needs
