About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning across KS3 and KS4 when teachers are absent. You will:

• Lead and supervise classes of students aged 11–16
• Deliver pre‑prepared lessons in a range of subjects
• Support students to remain on task and engaged in learning
• Manage behaviour in accordance with school policies
• Provide additional assistance to students with special educational needs when required

This position offers genuine insight into life inside the classroom while helping you develop confidence, leadership skills, and practical experience valued by schools and training providers.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people in a secondary school or similar setting
• Is confident managing a classroom and adapting to different year groups
• Can support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN
• Builds positive relationships through strong communication and a calm, approachable manner
• Is passionate about education and committed to helping students achieve their best
