Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic upper KS2 Teachers to provide intensive INTERVENTION work for the Year 6 SATs tests in the new academic year within SEN schools in Hull and East Yorkshire.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high quality standard of teaching and have a wealth of experience. It is crucial candidates are able to tutor pupils from a diverse range of abilities through the SATs. Applications welcome from experienced teachers and the highest calibre of NQT- year 6 experiences essential.

• The role will involve providing SATS booster sessions and other intervention work for KS2 students approaching their SATS test.
• You will be assisting to cover primarily Maths and English to a 'good' or outstanding' standing.
• You will have a deep reservoir of experience teaching upper KS2 students and the drive to help children achieve their academic potential.
• You will be enthusiastic and approach struggling pupils with a can-do problem solving approach.

About you as the ideal candidate:

• You will be calm and cool under pressure and be able to handle difficult behaviour
• You will have a demeanour that encourages openness from pupils and a willingness to seek help where required
• You will be encouraging and able to instil belief in pupils that they can succeed
• A commitment to child welfare and safety is an absolute must.
• A clean driving license and your own transport would be ideal, but are not necessary.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
