Primary Tuition and Intervention

Job description

If you are a qualified teacher or have extensive tuition experience with KS1 and KS2, we are looking for tutors to deliver around 2 hours of Maths or English lessons 5 days per week, to children who do not currently have a placement within mainstream schools. This may be due to a number of reasons such as SEN, SEMH, EAL or behaviour, therefore their curriculum must be met outside of school.

Tutors will be expected to travel to the site of tuition which would either be the students home (supervised) or within a local community building such as the library. Tuition pays a rate of £20 per hour and is generally booked within school hours.

All candidates need to have an enhanced DBS on the update service to be considered for this role; Teaching Personnel can offer support in applying for a DBS.

Please send your CV and cover letter to be considered.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
