Primary TA

JOB TYPE: Part Time

DAILY PAY: GBP65-GBP85

*Primary School Teaching Assistant - Supply and Long-Term Roles*

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit resourceful Primary School Teaching Assistants (TA's) to work within Primary Schools in Oldham, to provide emergency cover requirements in the local area.

As part of Teaching Personnel, you will join a community of staff dedicated to connecting you with roles you will flourish in. We do this by getting to know your strengths, aspirations and connecting you with professionals with-in the educational field to enable you to reach your education career goals. Usually when making a good impression during short term work or placement this may result in longer term work. 

Responsibilities of this role:

  • 1:1 Tuition with students that require extra support
  • Lead small group intervention sessions leading up to key exams
  • Provide general cover to other areas within school
  • Involvement in departmental planning and marking

  • Knowledge of strategies to recognise and reward efforts and achievements towards self-resilience that are appropriate to the age and development stage of the pupil
  • Ability to provide classroom cover in absence of the teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
