A Primary school in Durham is looking for an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to work within a lively school. The suitable candidate will be working with children between the ages of 5-7.
The role will be working within a creative and energetic team, the successful KS1 Teaching Assistant will focus on support across the school curriculum. The suitable candidate will need to have experience working with Year 1 and 2 as well as knowledge of the current curriculum.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject
- Experience supporting children with KS1 children of all abilities
- Adaptable to different daily routines
- Experience of KS1 curriculum and phonics
- Flexible and creative approach to support teaching
- Hold an advanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
