Pay: Competitive and dependant on experience / qualifications

Location: Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan

Start: ASAP (flexible, part-time, full-time, and day-to-day)

Many of which, require extra support on an ad-hoc basis to cover unexpected staffing changes, sickness and isolation periods.  Desirable experience and qualifications:

• At least 3 months working with children in a primary classroom setting
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (such as, Autism, Global Delay and behavioural issues)
•  Teaching assistant qualification (i.e. Diploma or CACHE level 2/3)
• Youth or background in care
• Degree in Education Studies (or similar)

The role:

There are a variety of roles available across all primary age groups, however, you can expect to:

• Run small group interventions (numeracy and literacy)
• Provide 1:1 support
• Support the teacher in classroom activities and tidying up
