Primary Teacher Resource Base
Job description
Have you got experience with teaching in a SEN setting? Are you passionate about teaching and have an understanding of the national curriculum? This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience teaching in a SEN background and very flexible in approach. We are working in partnership with schools in the Worcester area and are very much looking forward to hearing from you. You will be working in the resource base of a mainstream primary school.
Can you do the following?
- Teach and engage with students and pupils according to abilities
- Develop engaging lessons and be able to mark and evaluate work handed in by students in line with the assessment policy
- Facilitate the engagement of students in extracurricular activities
- Liaise with teaching staff, senior leadership to deliver the best possible experience possible
- Be proactive but flexible in approach – adhering to safeguarding policies and making that the forefront of your approach
This sounds like you right? Just to make sure, you will need:
- An Undergraduate Education Degree OR a degree in any subject and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) OR Professional Graduate Diploma
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous in-school teaching experience – particularly in a SEND setting
- Fluent level of both spoken and written English.
- An enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
