Are you a qualified Teacher looking for an exciting new role with a better work / life balance?
Registering with Teaching Personnel can help you find exactly what you’re looking for!
We anticipate an increase in demand for supply teachers once the schools reopen, and are currently recruiting supply teachers to be available for long and short term roles throughout Scarborough, Malton, Pickering and Whitby. Particular emphasis will be placed on SEMH and behavioural needs for pupils returning after a long break from the classroom environment, As such you will be confident in meeting the emotional needs of pupils in addition to a desire to get them back on track academically.
Who can be a Supply Teacher?
It is essential that you hold UK QTS and experience across 2 Key Stages (EYFS and KS1 or KS1 andKS2)
You will demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills and a flexible attitude.
Ideally you will be available 3 – 5 days per week with access to your own transport and be happy to travel up to 30 minutes.
Being a supply Teacher…
The majority of the work will be booked in advance but there may be occasions where you will be called between 7am and 9am for work on the same day.
Most schools will provide the planning for the day but you will need to have a bank of resources to hand, suitable for all year groups – just in case. Working across various schools you will follow each schools policies, mark the children’s work and provide handover notes for when the class teacher returns.
