Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with QTS to deliver high-quality, creative and differentiated lessons to small groups of learners. You will play an important role in supporting academic progress, emotional development and positive engagement in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons

  • Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience

  • Support behaviour using calm, consistent and nurturing approaches

  • Work closely with pastoral and teaching teams to ensure pupils’ progress


Essential Experience

Applicants must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • At least 6 months childcare or classroom experience, ideally supporting children with additional or complex needs

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • A patient, compassionate and proactive teaching style

Safeguarding

All roles require an enhanced DBS check and full safeguarding clearance. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
