Maths Teacher (QTS) – Full-Time, Immediate Start

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive school in Poole. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working with pupils aged 2–19 years across both primary and secondary phases.
About the Role
- Position: Maths Teacher (QTS required)
- Location: Poole
- Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent opportunities
- Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and interactive maths lessons tailored to different age groups and abilities.
- Support pupils in developing problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Promote a culture of respect, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in childcare or education, ideally supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
- A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for teaching mathematics.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
