Maths Teacher (QTS) – Full-Time, Immediate Start

Are you a qualified Maths Teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you have a passion for inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive school in Poole. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working with pupils aged 2–19 years across both primary and secondary phases.


About the Role

  • Position: Maths Teacher (QTS required)
  • Location: Poole
  • Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent opportunities
  • Start Date: Immediate

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and committed to delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and confidence in learners. You will be working with a diverse range of pupils, adapting your teaching strategies to meet individual needs and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and interactive maths lessons tailored to different age groups and abilities.
  • Support pupils in developing problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Promote a culture of respect, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in childcare or education, ideally supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for teaching mathematics.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
