About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher with QTS to join a highly supportive and well-resourced school in Poole.

The school is known for its warm atmosphere, strong teamwork ethos, and commitment to helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

This is a full time, immediate start vacancy, with the potential to work across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary phases depending on experience and preference.
Working hours are 8.30am to 5pm.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to learners’ needs

  • Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior staff

  • Support pupils in developing communication, personal growth, and independence

  • Contribute to a nurturing learning environment built on encouragement and trust


Requirements

To be considered for the role, applicants must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A minimum of 6 months childcare or education-based experience, ideally supporting children with additional learning needs

  • A patient, flexible, and supportive approach to teaching

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Teachers from a primary background are encouraged to apply — full support and guidance will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
