Job description

Be the Teacher Who Changes the Story

Are you looking for a teaching role where your impact is seen, felt, and celebrated every single day?

We are seeking an inspiring Primary Teacher with QTS to join a warm, nurturing primary campus in Poole, supporting pupils aged 5 to 12 with Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism (ASD).

This is not just a teaching position, it is an opportunity to help pupils discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve milestones that truly matter.

The school is known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong teamwork, and unwavering belief that every child can thrive when they feel safe, understood, and supported.

This is a full time, immediate start role, with working hours of 8.45am to 3.30pm.

What Makes This Role Special

Here, teaching is not about rushing through a curriculum. It’s about creativity, connection, and celebrating progress in all its forms.

You will be surrounded by colleagues who collaborate, share ideas, and champion each other’s successes.

You will have the freedom to shape engaging, personalised learning experiences, using sensory learning, visual communication and carefully paced routines to bring lessons to life.

You will form meaningful relationships with pupils who need consistency, patience, and someone who sees their potential before they see it themselves. Every small step forward feels like a triumph, because it truly is.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of 6 months childcare or education experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs.

You should be someone who leads with empathy, patience, and creativity, and who understands that progress looks different for every child.

If you believe every child deserves a champion, someone who refuses to give up, then you will thrive here.
